A village in Westchester is apparently making people green with envy, as a new report has named a county suburb as having one of the most sought-after lifestyles in America.

The village of Scarsdale has made it on a list of suburbs with the "most envied lifestyles" across the country, according to a report from Moving Feedback released on Monday, Aug. 14.

The village took spot No. 104 on the list out of the 175 suburbs that were included.

The rankings were determined by an online panel survey of 3,000 adults based on age, gender, and geography, the organization reported.

If you're wondering what suburb took the top spot as having the most envied lifestyle in the entire country, the honor went to sunny Calabasas, California, which is known for its proximity to the entertainment industry and a wide offering of scenic views.

According to Moving Feedback, the idea of moving to the suburbs has become more popular in the last few years as work-from-home arrangements become more common in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This can be attributed to them offering "expansive spaces and nature" while still retaining proximity to busy city centers, the organization said.
